Job Description:

A company is looking for a Professional Billing Specialist responsible for managing professional billing requirements and accounts receivable tasks.



Key Responsibilities

Coordinate payor denial and appeal follow-up activities to ensure timely responses from third-party payors
Maintain healthcare tracking tools for claim edits and denial activity, including user access management and training
Track and analyze denial outcomes and report metrics to support billing and denials management initiatives


Required Qualifications and Education

5 years of experience in a Healthcare/Hospital Revenue Cycle Environment, including Third Party Collection/AR Receivables
Epic PB Resolute experience required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, including EDI transaction sets and insurance contract terms
Certification in Epic PB Resolute or agreement to obtain certification within 12 months after hire required
